DESCRIPTION / DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead district-based project activities for the implementation of program objectives and goals.
- Develop a district level project/activity plan both monthly and media strategies and propose different activities to achieve project objectives.
- Coordinate in the monitoring of performance against approved programs and suggest changes to the project manager /head for timely decision making.
- Ensure monthly/quarterly/bi-annually review and planning meetings of the district staff and contribute to prepare periodic work plans against the project and ensure monitoring against the set indicators at district levels.
- Build linkages with donors, Public, corporate sector, civil society, Govt institutions at the local level, and government line departments at the district level.
- Arranging meetings of project staff /donor agency with govt official /administration at the district level.
- Update District govt about project updates as required in writing.
- Report head office about activities, progress, and outcomes of project interventions on a weekly basis by visiting the Head office physically.
- Arranging and facilitating head office for planned activities, meetings, and other tasks at the district level. Arrange regular meetings with district focal persons as notified by respective departments (Health & Education).
- Coordinate with Divisional Tobacco Control Taskforce for better implementation of TC laws at the local level, and provide reports to the Taskforce on a monthly basis.
- Undertake and supervise any survey, study, fact-finding, and evidence collection of project impacts and problem areas with documentary evidence and share it with head office required for project activities.
- Initiate and execute district level activities with full responsibility.
- Acquire proper permission from CEO /Project Manager before executing /planning any activity involving/not involving financial liability.
- Keep proper documented (soft/hard in original) of activities, bills, and other letters and submit them to Project Manager.
