The Socio-Economic and Education Development Organization (SEEDO) is committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of gender, socioeconomic background, or geographic location, has access to quality education. Through its “Every Child in School” initiative, SEEDO works across all districts of Gilgit-Baltistan to identify out-of-school children, address barriers to education, and promote inclusive learning opportunities.
SEEDO collaborates closely with government departments, schools, community leaders, parents, and development partners to increase school enrollment, improve attendance, and reduce dropout rates. The organization conducts awareness campaigns, community mobilization activities, parent engagement sessions, and educational support programs to encourage families to prioritize education.
Special attention is given to girls, children with disabilities, and children living in remote and underserved communities. By strengthening community ownership and promoting the importance of education, SEEDO aims to create a future where every child is enrolled, learning, and empowered to achieve their full potential.
